Protect Your Eyes From Summer Fun

swimming in the summerWhen the weather is extremely warm, the pool and other outside activities beckon. However, with increased outdoor activity can also come increased risk of injury. Eye damage, in particular, becomes more common when it’s warm outside. So how can you help protect you and your children’s eyes while still having fun in the sun?

Here are a couple. tips:

  • Guard your eyes from sun damage. Wear sunglasses with the highest UV protection. The combination of a hat and sunglasses offers the best protection for your eyes
  • Wear sports goggles. Every sport has its own suggested protective eyewear, but the key is choosing a pair with polycarbonate lenses
