As if we actually needed another excuse to enjoy a deliciously crafted cocktail! The beginning of fall is really the best time of year to invite some friends over to your house and make delicious drinks to enjoy this beautiful weather on your patio! Creating a signature cocktail of sorts is always the best way to keep you and your guests happy because you can make them in one large batch and shake them to order. This allows you to enjoy the party alongside your guests instead of getting caught in the kitchen all night long. So what are you waiting on? Let’s make some cocktails!
This cocktail is going to utilize certain juices that are beneficial for your eyesight, because if you are going to enjoy an amazing cocktail you might as well include some ingredients that will benefit your entire body too! Grapefruit juice contains an incredible amount of vitamin A. This vitamin ensures that your eyes will remain healthy. Women and men need about 700 to 900 micrograms of vitamin A everyday to ensure proper functions. Vitamin A contains many different compounds such as lycopene, lutein and zeaxanthin all of which helps maintain your eyesight and decreases the risk of developing eye-related problems such as macular degeneration and night blindness. A medium grapefruit contains 60 micrograms of vitamin A, so it is a great juice to keep around to be able to achieve your daily suggested amount. And he,y if some of that can come in the form of a cocktail, you won’t hear me complaining!
